It’s hard to know what to make of this abstract piece, Holy Spirit by Keith New (1965), in Bristol Cathedral. One thing is sure, it brightens up the South Quire and catches the eye.

Safety Neptune
It looks like the Health and Safety Committee have got on to Neptune and carried out some remediation work on his trident. Neptune is an 18th Century lead sculpture and is in Bristol’s Broad Quay.
Bristol Celebrities
Cheo’s Upfest 2016 piece featuring Shaun the Sheep and Bitzer in Bristol’s Broadquay. It’s looking a bit grubby one year on but it’s nice to spot some Aardman stars on home turf.
Sadly Cheo’s 2013 Wallace and Gromit piece, which looks like they are channelling Morris Minor and the Majors in Stutter Rap, from 2013 was well and truly obstructed by greenery.
