The paddlesteamer Alexander Arbuthnot rests at the Port of Echuca Wharf in between passenger trips. This is the last paddle steamer that was built for freight along the Murray. In 1989 she was restored and converted to carry passengers.
The PS Emmylou steams past the Port of Echuca Wharf on the Murray River. Despite her appearance this paddlesteamer was built in 1980, and was named after Country singer Emmylou Harris.
