Warwick‘s Old Castle Bridge over the River Avon seen from the Waterwheel.
Looking down on the Engine House, Mill and Weir on the River Avon. Behind this is the ruined Old Castle Bridge, and in the background the replacement Castle Bridge opened in 1793.
Looking down from Warwick Castle and over the River Avon, we can see the trebuchet in the castle grounds. This 2005 built replica is one of the largest siege engines in the world. This monster machine needs a team of eight people to load and fire it. Two people run in each wheel to wind the massive arm back down.
Another Warwick Castle panorama with a missing bit. This time it is the Watergate Tower and the Castle Mound on a gloriously sunny day.
A bit of a dodgy panorama of Warwick Castle. I obviously didn’t make sure that I had enough coverage of the tree and sky on the left.
